Disney Cruise Line is testing wearable wristbands instead of traditional Key to the World cards on the October 10, 2026 sailing of the Disney Treasure. Cruise Hive and WDW News Today both reported that passengers embarking on the Saturday cruise will participate in the trial if they do not already own a DisneyBand+ device. [1][2]

According to Cruise Hive, Disney Cruise Line notified travel advisors about the upcoming test and detailed how the trial wearables function. Instead of picking up standard room keycards outside their assigned staterooms, passengers who already possess a DisneyBand+ will have their existing devices activated at port check-in as usual. [1]
