Arkia Israeli Airlines announced on Sunday that it will launch regular nonstop flights to Reykjavik, Iceland, beginning in June 2027. Ynetnews reported that the carrier is opening five new destinations as part of its 2027 flight schedule, which covers 40 global locations. Round-trip fares for the Reykjavik route will start at $798. [1]

The airline's other newly added destinations include Manila in the Philippines, Tallinn in Estonia, Yerevan in Armenia, and Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to Ynetnews. To promote the new schedule, Arkia is offering a 20 percent discount on international flights and vacation packages through November 3, including peak travel periods such as Passover and summer vacation. Discounted round-trip tickets to destinations in Greece and Cyprus will start at $163. [1]

Arkia Israeli Airlines Ltd is Israel's second-largest airline. It operates scheduled domestic and international services alongside charter flights across Western Europe and the Mediterranean. The carrier maintains its headquarters and primary base at Ben Gurion Airport, alongside a hub at Ramon Airport. [2]

The long-haul expansion builds on broader international air travel connections to Iceland. As FTMQ Travel reported earlier, Icelandair is also expanding its network in May 2027 by launching seasonal direct flights between St. Louis and Keflavik International Airport. [5]
