Icelandair to Launch Nonstop Flights Between St Louis and Iceland
Icelandair will introduce seasonal nonstop flights from St. Louis to Keflavik in May 2027 alongside an expanded partnership with Southwest Airlines.

Icelandair will start a seasonal nonstop service connecting St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Keflavik International Airport in May 2027, Travel Radar reported. Flights will operate up to four times per week between May 14 and October 24, 2027. Service is scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. [1]
The new service allows passengers traveling from St. Louis to transit through Iceland to access more than 35 European destinations, Travel Radar reported. Icelandair is also expanding its bilateral cooperation with Southwest Airlines to increase passenger connection choices across North America, Iceland, and Europe. [1]
St. Louis Lambert International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Missouri, located 14 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis. It covers 3,793 acres and handled nearly 16 million passengers in 2024, offering nonstop routes to more than 60 international and domestic destinations. [4]
