Carnival Corporation moves ships between Holland America Cunard and P and O

Carnival Corporation will shuffle two cruise ships between three of its brands in 2029, according to Cruise Hive, Cruise Industry News, TravelPulse, and The Maritime Executive. P and O Cruises will transfer the ship Arcadia to Holland America Line. Additionally, Cunard will move its vessel Queen Anne to P and O Cruises. [1][2][3][4][8]

Cruise Industry News reported that Queen Anne will join the P and O Cruises fleet following the completion of its 2028 to 2029 world cruise. The ship will undergo an extensive redesign before joining P and O Cruises, Cruise Hive reported. Meanwhile, Arcadia will complete a farewell season with P and O Cruises ending on August 21, 2029, prior to its transfer, according to Cruise Industry News. [1][2]

The addition of the 83,781 gross ton Arcadia will expand the Holland America Line fleet from 11 to 12 ships, Cruise Hive and Cruise Industry News both report. Cruise Hive added that the Vista Class vessel was originally ordered by Holland America Line in 2000. [1][3]
