Princess Cruises offers a four-tier loyalty program called the Captains Circle for its passengers, InsideFlyer and The Points Guy reported. The scheme provides a range of benefits to returning guests as they reach higher levels. [1][2]

According to The Points Guy, the program is more modest than those of competitors such as Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line. Princess Cruises does not award a free cruise or onboard credits to top-tier members, though a 2021 update introduced discounts on spa treatments and shore excursions at higher tiers. [2]

Princess Cruises is an American cruise line owned by Carnival Corporation, with headquarters in Santa Clarita, California. Incorporated in Bermuda, it is the sixth largest cruise line by net revenue as of 2025 and operates 17 ships on global itineraries. [3]

The line introduced balcony staterooms as standard features in the late 20th century and gained prominence through the television series The Love Boat. In 2017, the company launched MedallionClass technology, which uses wearable devices for automated door access and location tracking. [4]
