Royal Caribbean reshuffles Harmony of the Seas Bahamas itinerary over weather
Royal Caribbean altered port visit orders for Harmony of the Seas due to expected unfavorable Bahamas weather, though all scheduled destinations remain intact.

Royal Caribbean altered the port order for a five-night sailing on Harmony of the Seas due to expected unfavorable weather in the Bahamas, Cruise Hive reported. Guests boarding the ship in Port Canaveral on Saturday, October 24, 2026, received an email notification detailing the itinerary changes the day prior to embarkation. [1]
The cruise line confirmed in an email to passengers that a weather system expected to bring unfavorable conditions to the region required rearranging the port schedule. Cruise Hive reported that despite the adjustments, the Oasis-class vessel will still visit all previously scheduled destinations, including Nassau and the private island destination Perfect Day at CocoCay. TravelPulse also reported that wild weather is affecting cruise operations spanning from the Bahamas to Europe. [1][2]
Harmony of the Seas is an Oasis-class cruise vessel, a ship class designed under the name Project Genesis and ordered from Aker Finnyards in Finland, according to Wikipedia. The ship class was the largest passenger vessel type in service until 2024, when Icon of the Seas surpassed it. [3]
The itinerary change follows earlier storm disruptions reported by FTMQ Travel, including an October 18 sailing of Oasis of the Seas that cancelled scheduled Bahamas visits from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, and redirected passengers to Halifax, Nova Scotia. [6]
