Air Serbia will launch six new routes during the summer season of 2027, including flights to Miami, EX-YU Aviation News reported. The chief executive officer of Air Serbia, Jiri Marek, announced on the RTS public broadcaster that tickets for all six destinations will go on sale on October 20. [1]
The planned expansion features two weekly flights to Miami beginning in May. According to EX-YU Aviation News, Air Serbia will also launch services to Yerevan in late March, Helsinki in April, Cluj in late May, and Chisinau and Menorca in June. The new flights mark the first time the carrier will operate in Moldova. [1]
The addition of Miami will expand the long-haul network of Air Serbia to three destinations in the United States, EX-YU Aviation News reported. The airline has evaluated nonstop flights between its hub at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Miami since 2023. Following these route launches, the carrier will serve nine destinations in Spain. [1][2]
Air Serbia is the flag carrier of Serbia and operates out of its main hub in Belgrade. The airline is fully owned by the Government of Serbia after the state became the sole shareholder following a previous partnership with Etihad Airways. It serves as the successor to former national carriers, including Aeroput and Jat Airways. [2][4]
