United Airlines announced it will add five new nonstop routes across North America. The New York Post and Simple Flying both report that the expansion includes three international routes to Canadian destinations alongside two domestic routes. [1][2]

The new international flights will connect Denver to Ottawa, Denver to Quebec City, and Newark to St. John's. The New York Post reported these Canadian route additions reflect recent transborder expansion efforts. Simple Flying noted that United Airlines is partnering with Air Canada to offer passengers more choices, following a recent agreement between the two carriers. [1][2]

The two new domestic services will run between Houston, Texas, and Joplin, Missouri, as well as between Washington Dulles and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. According to the New York Post, experts state that these domestic routes stem from ongoing construction and resulting operational restrictions at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. [1]

United Airlines is a major United States carrier headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, operating a network across six continents. The carrier extends its regional services via independent partners under the United Express brand and is a founding member of the Star Alliance network. [11]
