Delta Air Lines Confirms Plans to Build Its Own Media Network

Delta Air Lines confirmed on October 5, 2026, that it is building its own media network, Skift reported. The confirmation followed a LinkedIn post by a former Deloitte Digital manager whom the airline hired to lead the new venture. [1]

The airline stated that it is developing new media capabilities as part of its strategy, according to Skift. While the initiative remains in its early stages, personalization could emerge as a major revenue stream for airlines aiming to target more affluent travelers. [1]

Delta Air Lines is a major U.S. carrier and one of the largest airlines globally. In July 2024, the carrier suffered an operational disruption tied to widespread CrowdStrike outages, which led to the cancellation of more than 7,000 flights and impacted over 1.3 million passengers before normal operations resumed.
